The National Research Foundation (NRF) Singapore and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in November 2016 for joint-funding of collaborative research projects in areas of mutual interest.
The first joint grant call was launched in July 2017 for proposals in the areas of:
- Material sciences, with a focus on composite materials and 3D printing; and
- Business analytics, with a focus on financial technologies.
Grant Duration and Quantum
This grant call provides funding support for joint research for a period of 3 years. The indicative funding is up to 500,000 EUR by FNR and up to S$500,000 by NRF per collaborative research project.
