President Science and Technology Awards

The President's Science and Technology Awards (PSTA) are the highest honours bestowed on exceptional research scientists and engineers in Singapore for their excellent achievements in science and technology.

First established as the National Science and Technology Awards (NSTA) in 1987, the awards were elevated to the Presidential level in 2009. Given annually, the awards are presented to recognise and celebrate outstanding and invaluable contributions by individuals or teams to the research and development landscape in Singapore.

For 10 years, the PSTA has recognised individuals with innovative ideas who have made exceptional contributions to Singapore. Over 60 men and women have been singled out for their spirit of innovation. Their passion and talent for science and technology have inspired the scientific community and helped to shape Singapore’s research, innovation and enterprise landscape.
