The Singapore Center on Environmental Life Sciences Engineering aims to become one of the world's top research centres in the emerging area of microbial biofilms within 5 years, conducting cutting edge research on micobial biofilm communities with the purpose of harnessing their powers for water and environmental sustainability.
The Centre is led by Professor Staffan Kjelleberg, Scientia Professor from the University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.
