NATIONAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION Prime Minister’s Office

The National Research Foundation (NRF), a department under the Prime Minister’s Office sets the national direction for R&D and coordinates the research agenda of different agencies to transform Singapore into an innovative, entrepreneurial and knowledge-intensive economy, with R&D as a key driver.

The Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) physical campus is currently under construction within the NUS University New Town.  It is a building complex of research centres from top universities, augmented with corporate research laboratories, incubators and other infrastructure and services.

The candidate will oversee the CREATE construction work and manage the CREATE campus to ensure that the NRF’s objectives for CREATE is met.

Head, Projects

You will:
-Work with the CREATE site consultants and project manager to ensure that the construction is on schedule and within budget. 
-Manage the fitting-out of the research and office space at CREATE
-Prepare scope of work and specifications, negotiate and administer contracts for facilities operations
-Liaise and oversee service providers in the provision of facility management services to CREATE buildings
-Ensure compliance with relevant authorities’ requirements and guidelines in the various buildings and facilities works.

The ideal candidate must possess a degree in civil engineering or estate management with at least 5-8 years working experience in the related field.  A proactive team player, meticulous and with good written, interpersonal and communication skills.
